What are the dimensions of a forklift trucks prongs?

Its for a project im doing at Uni.
Basically I need to know, are the dimensions of the prongs on a Forklift truck standardised?
If so, what are the dimensions, ie width and height of the prong and the distance between them.
Any information on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Standard fork lengths for a counter balance truck are 1000mm or 1100mm long by 100mm or 125mm wide (at the widest point) by 45mm or 50mm deep (at the heel, the bend in the fork). Lengths vary depending on use the above sizes are for general use pallets etc. The bigger the capacity or safe working load of the truck the deeper and wider the forks get. Distance between the forks is adjustable and the max distance depends on the truck manufacturer. MSI are a major fork manufacturer try a net search for MSI FORKS they may have some sizes. Hope this helps. P.S you could try a net search for Linde fork trucks or Hyster fork trucks maybe some info for them
