Forklift batteries? how do i know if they need replacing?

thinking of buying this old Electric ForkForklift, the thing works fine so far and has had a charge as well as the cells having a hydrometer test. The cells however hardly go into the white area which concerns me a bit. I know the cost of new ones but will these ones do for a truck that does an hour a day at the most?

The only way to tell is to see if it lasts the course of what you want it to do. I’m guessing you don’t want to replace cells unncessarily so as long as it keeps on it’ll do fine. Could last for a long time like that, or it could pack in tomorrow.

Can anyone give the product details of Hytsu Electric Forklift Truck?

I have a electric forklift and it got wet, the forks still work, going up and down and tilt but the actual?

Forklift will not go in forward or reverse, any suggestions?

Sounds like a corroded connection in the wiring harness, drive switch pedal / drive motor relay. You’d have to trace the wiring with a Voltmeter or a test light. But be careful and keep your feet away from the wheels, the thing might take off without any warning.
